"Lang is her" is the appetising culinary concept brought to Hotel an der Wasserburg by a dedicated team led by the Rohde family (the owners). The modern, international cuisine with seasonal influences is served as a three- to seven-course set menu or à la carte. Both in the chic interior, which has a friendly vibe, and, in summer, out on the lovely terrace with its walnut tree, staff provide attentive service and will be happy to recommend the perfect accompaniment from the well-stocked German/international wine list. This compact restaurant started out in autumn 2024 as a pop-up serving dishes à la carte. Today, it opens its doors in the evenings to present modern and creative cuisine in the form of two five- or seven-course set menus: "Eine Rundreise" and the vegetarian "Botanischer Garten". At the helm in the kitchen, Valentin Thesing (previously at Aqua in Wolfsburg) delivers expressive, harmonious flavour combinations in dishes such as "scallop, water spinach, coconut", complete with robust sauces and stocks. Enrico Dunkel and his small restaurant have been a well-established part of the city's culinary landscape for years. His cooking style is ambitious, creative and draws on international influences. The set menu can comprise five, six or seven courses. Choose your accompaniment from the extensive selection of fine German wines. There is also a pairing menu. The interior is modern yet cosy. In summer, the pretty terrace beckons.

In less than a minute, the lift takes you up to the 18th floor of the BraWoPark building near Hauptbahnhof. People come here to enjoy modern cuisine in a trendy, chic setting – not to mention the view. Try the choice cuts of the excellent beef aged in-house. The name sort of gives it away if you have any German: This attractive modern brasserie is housed in a former sugar factory, now a listed building. Exposed red brick walls and high ceilings give the setting an appealing industrial feel. In summer, the terrace is shaded by awnings. Flavoursome seasonally inspired dishes are served à la carte, with an additional set menu available. The waitstaff are pleasantly down-to-earth, very friendly and well organised.

Here at der allerKrug with its friendly hosts Sven Hütten and Petra Tiecke-Hütten, you can look forward to carefully and skilfully prepared dishes. The dishes are based on country cuisine with international influences, plus there’s an attractive terrace to the rear of the restaurant.

A small, neat house on the outskirts of the city centre houses this pretty restaurant with its modern and minimalist design. The cuisine is also modern; one of the menus is vegetarian. The choice of accompanying beverages includes not only wines but also an alcohol-free alternative. Pleasantly relaxed, friendly and professional service.
