This elegant modern restaurant is accommodated in a charming Baroque mansion within the historical Schlosspark. In an airy, high-ceilinged space, diners are served classic cuisine with regional and Mediterranean sides, for you to pick à la carte or as a set menu. The proprietor himself runs the kitchen, using good-quality ingredients to cook up tasty dishes, while the lady of the house takes care of diners in a cordial manner. On hot summer days, make a beeline for the marvellous terrace.

In this pretty little restaurant you can savour the ambitious classic and regional cuisine rustled up by your dedicated host and head chef Markus Pape. The staff gladly recommend wines from the nearby Disibodenberg estate to pair with dishes such as "Soonwald venison served two ways – loin and leg, sea buckthorn, celeriac, root vegetables, radicchio, sauce grand veneur". The various buildings of the Meisenheimer Hof make for an attractive mix of the historical and modern – in the restaurant as well as in the hotel's themed guestrooms. In summer, the terrace between the buildings is delightful.

Set in a former ferry house dating back to 1517, this establishment has been run by Wigbert Weck since 2007 and has a loyal following of regulars. The dishes created by the chef-patron are skillfully prepared from fresh ingredients with no unnecessary embellishments, and they are delicious! Tip: the surprise menu (only for the whole table). Michael Knöll conjures up cuisine that combines Mediterranean and regional influences, making use of excellent produce to deliver flavoursome dishes. Choose between à la carte options and seasonal set menus, including a vegetarian version. They also have lovely and well-maintained guestrooms.

The restaurant at lifestyle hotel Papa Rhein sports a tasteful vintage maritime look and serves good food made with the freshest ingredients. Each evening, a new three-course set menu is presented, in a vegetarian or omnivore version – the latter with options. Lunch is à la carte. The front-of-house team pulls out all the stops but keeps things informal. There is a wonderful view of the Rhine and the surrounding vineyards – in summer, the delightful terrace beckons! In the bar, sand underfoot brings that beach feeling indoors.
