The name of the spacious restaurant (with a minimalist elegance and laid out on two floors) pays homage to chef Julià Bernet’s maternal grandfather. Her traditional cuisine comes courtesy of an à la carte (we particularly enjoyed the pigs’ trotters with langoustine tartare and stuffed morel mushrooms) and through a two tasting menus (Tradición and Territorio). As we’re in a region with a great wine tradition, its unsurprising that the choice of wines has been meticulously curated.

Here, the central counter (where you can also eat) takes centre stage, with the open kitchen behind it enabling guests to view the production process in full flow. The fusion-style menu is highly personal and includes recipes from different parts of the globe (the aubergine with white miso paste and foie gras came as a particularly pleasant surprise).
