Hôtel des Roches has been entirely rebuilt with local Bormes stone, giving it a new lease of life. Perched on the rocks just above the sea, it boasts spectacular views from Cap Nègre to the Îles du Levant. In the kitchen, chef Antoine Gras (La Table de l'Ours, Val-d'Isère) takes up residency for the summer, returning to the Mediterranean roots of his early career. Set in a picturesque little street in the old part of the village, this small restaurant initially charms you with its rustic appeal and delightful terrace, complete with fountain and pergola, and surrounded by greenery and flowers. In the kitchen, Riccardo Berto sprinkles his colourful Mediterranean dishes with Peruvian touches, informed by his experience as chef at L'Altiplano in Val d'Isère. One example would be the amberjack ceviche enhanced by an invigorating leche de tigre with peach and crispy corn. A truly enjoyable experience.

The chef conjures up cuisine oozing in Provençal tradition depending on market availability, all of which at sensible prices: seabream and aioli; seabass in parsley and parmesan cream; Solliès strawberries and a sweet pesto. A few guestrooms are available, just a few dozen metres from a D-Day beach. Well-managed and very friendly.
