Sit inside to watch the making of the delicious loaves and pastries or head out to the terrace for some people-watching in the part-pedestrianised lane. Modern, flavour-packed small plates are served throughout the day and can be accompanied by something from the biodynamic wine list. Naturally, a pastry is a must to finish, but with so many delicious options it can be hard to choose... and if you simply can't decide, there's always the option to take something home for later too

This romantic little restaurant sits in an attractive courtyard setting and is keenly run by its hands-on owner Franciska. Nothing is too much trouble for her when it comes to her guests, who she encourages to relax and fully appreciate the experience. The five-course tasting menu comes with plenty of little extras and the flavour-packed dishes are truly beautiful to look at – with flavours to match. In an all-encompassing experience, the contemporary artwork on the walls changes every two months along with the menu – and the ceramic dishes are specially designed by the chef himself.
