An enthusiastic self-taught young couple runs this restaurant with a subdued decor composed of raw materials. The premises also house a bakery and delicatessen leading onto a lovely terrace and indoor garden (including a citrus tree greenhouse). The ingredients, which are 95% organic, make for healthy, tasty and balanced dishes.

Chef Thomas Valleron, who hails from the region and was previously sous-chef at Hostellerie La Montagne in Colombey-les-Deux-Églises, has opened his own restaurant in a charming half-timbered house that is typical of the area. In fine weather, the terrace is popular; inside, exposed beams meet modern furnishings. The cuisine is refined and well executed. Victor Martin and his chef Julien Drapier, a native of the region, are a well-established team. The intelligent and harmonious dishes beautifully showcase local ingredients, in bold-flavoured combinations, often with Asian influences, such as gyozas with a soy and ginger broth or the biscuit and matcha tea cream. Add to that smiling service, good value for money and a pleasant terrace by the water.
