Not far from the fish market, this establishment surprises in both substance and form, offering contemporary local cuisine in a designer setting. Located a stone’s throw from the Playa del Orzán, Pedra Furada can be viewed as a sibling of the successful Morrofino de Vigo as it shares the same culinary philosophy thanks to its fun, contemporary and meticulous dishes that also place a little more emphasis on top-quality ingredients inspired by the sea (e.g. flame-seared mackerel with cosium and a citrus jus with yellow chilli, and the grilled squid, onion sauce and delicate saffron cream). Located along a narrow street in the city’s old quarter, yet just a few steps from the boats moored at the Real Club Náutico de A Coruña, NaDo boasts a thoroughly modern look, with an open-view kitchen and just two long tables that can be adjusted according to the number of guests.
