Opened in 2008, the Majestic Minima Hotel is transforming into a creative space for guests and artists, setting new trends in stylish yet affordable city-fringe accommodations. Located in North Adelaide, this three-story boutique hotel features 46 compact studio rooms, each approximately 14 square meters. A handpicked selection of South Australian artists is transforming each room. The goal is to represent the vision of these artists across all 46 rooms under a common theme. The Majestic Minima Hotel recently received a Bronze Medal in the 2014 South Australian Tourism Awards for Unique Accommodation. Each room offers a king-size bed, a 32-inch LCD television with seven Foxtel channels, free in-room Wi-Fi, and a contemporary bathroom. Guests enjoy free and unlimited Wi-Fi in the foyer, secure parking, complimentary laundry facilities, and CCTV security throughout the property. All rooms also include electronic safes, tea and coffee making facilities, and an iron and ironing board. Reception is open seven days a week, from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm. Outside these hours, check-in can be arranged via a dedicated phone in the alcove at the hotel entrance. Specific artist-designed rooms can be requested, subject to availability.
