This family-run hotel enjoys a quiet location in Planegg, a 25-minute drive from central Munich. Hotel Asemann offers a private garden and modern rooms with digital TV as well as complimentary WiFi and wired internet. All rooms at the Hotel Asemann Planegg are nonsmoking and feature an ergonomic desk, a cozy armchair, and a mini-bar. Each bathroom includes free toiletries and a cosmetic mirror. A breakfast buffet is served from 06:30 daily in the Asemann's breakfast room, which features a view of the garden. Guests can eat outside on the terrace in warm weather. Free private parking is available at the Asemann Hotel. Planegg Train Station is a 9-minute walk away. Direct S-Bahn (city rail) trains run to Munich Main Station in just 20 minutes.

It only has eight tables, so it's best to book if you are keen to tuck into their excellent, reasonably priced cuisine in a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The small à la carte selection is tempting, with dishes such as "yellowtail, radish, leek, mild habanero" or "pâté en croûte, duck, pork, plum". The dishes are also ideal for sharing.
