This building has a long history. Built in 1320, it was originally part of a monastery – Stift St Florian. Today, it is home to a charming and elegant restaurant with a lovely vaulted ceiling. The kitchen serves a modern take on classic cuisine. In addition to two set menus with four to seven courses, there are daily specials. Standout dishes include "Irish rock oyster with a clear Bloody Mary and celery stick", sweetbreads with pimientos, chipotle and lime, and Wiener schnitzel with potato salad. Named after its founder, Vinzenz Pauli, this tavern dates back to 1894. Its intentionally preserved rustic character is complemented by cheerful design details, lending the traditional dining rooms a charming atmosphere. In summer, both the veranda and garden terrace to the rear of the building are lovely. The menu features classic dishes as well as seasonal, modern-inspired creations such as Arctic char (from Schwarzau im Gebirge) with beetroot-and-lentil rolls, marinated Malabar spinach, and horseradish velouté. There are also vegetarian and vegan options.
