A really attractive restaurant: sleek, modern, spacious and – thanks to the large glass frontage – pleasingly bright, not to mention the view of the beautiful countryside. The leafy terrace with its shady chestnut tree is also very inviting. On the menu: flavourful cuisine prepared using excellent ingredients and drawing on Mediterranean and regional influences. Lunchtime options are more limited and more moderately priced.

This restaurant is steeped in tradition, and much sought after for its excellent seasonal cuisine. The chef's expertise and his knack for preparing select ingredients with real flavour are evident in dishes such as spicy smoked trout tartare with dill mustard and marinated apple and beetroot salad, and braised veal cheek, Bramata polenta and green beans with dried bacon.
