The friendly team offer a warm welcome and the original 14th-century building provides all the rustic charm you’d expect, while a modern barn extension and a charming riverside garden complete the picture. The extensive menu offers an appealing mix of classic British and Mediterranean influenced dishes which are big on flavour, and the 'Bib Gourmand' menu is a steal.

After a charming welcome from Nancy into the characterful interior, where a small bar still serves some local drinkers, it’s time to enjoy the hearty yet refined cooking. Classical flavour and texture combinations run throughout a menu served well by quality produce, with desserts like dark chocolate crémeux proving a real highlight.
