Sit back and admire the view while you choose from a mightily appealing menu that mixes classic crowd-pleasers from both French and British cuisine; perhaps begin with fish soup, rouille and gruyère, followed by battered haddock and chips. These well-priced dishes are low on fuss and high on flavour, so be sure to hang around for the sticky toffee pudding too. There are cosy bedrooms upstairs and the location is great for exploring nearby Ludlow.
