The hotel stands right on the shore facing the charming small sport fishing harbour in Sandvig. It is only a few metres' walk to the beach and a few minutes' walk to Hammeren and the Allinge town centre. Established in 1895, this is one of the oldest hotels on northern Bornholm. In those days it was one of most fashionable hotels on the island with its large ballroom with mirrored columns, which formed the framework of many summer parties. The framework and not least the atmosphere in the hotel are the reasons why so many guests choose to visit it again and again. Comprising a total of 49 rooms, the property also features a lobby, cloakroom, TV lounge, bar, restaurant and conference facilities. Furthermore, WLAN Internet access, a car park and bicycle hire are provided. Sea view rooms are located on the first and second floors; these rooms offer a panoramic view of the Baltic Sea from the window. Classic rooms are also located on the first and second floors; these rooms offer a panoramic view of Sandvig village and Hammeren with its beautiful nature. Room facilities include WLAN Internet access, satellite/cable TV, a telephone and radio. The en suite bathroom is fitted with a shower and the rooms are furnished with double or king-size beds. All rooms are heated and have a private balcony or terrace. Sun loungers are laid out on the sun terrace for guests' use. The sauna and steam room ensure that guests can truly relax. Facilities are available for sailing, tennis, beach volleyball, minigolf, golf, horse riding and biking. Entertainment programmes are arranged for children. Buffets are served for breakfast and dinner, whilst dinner may alternatively be selected à la carte.
