  • JoontosBib Named after the Spanish word for ‘together’, this is one of the best places to dine while admiring the architecture in AlUla’s Old Town. Part of Dar Tantora The House Hotel, the Spanish-inspired Middle Eastern restaurant is an ensemble of renovated traditional buildings resembling a medina, with its maze of narrow streets and walls covered by cob. Interiors are adorned with traditional frescoes, Persian carpets and wooden furniture. As for the food, the restaurant’s oasis-to-table ethos is subtly found across the generously portioned dishes. • TofareyaBib Loved by locals, this branch is located in Old Town, at the footsteps of AlUla's fort. It’s nestled in a humble village house that has two small dining rooms, a few tables on the roof overlooking the palm grove and some others on the pavement. The menu is true to the traditional recipes of regional Saudi dishes, sprinkled with some from other Middle Eastern regions. Some classics here are the kabsa flavoured with AlUla's oranges, or a textbook Omm Ali dessert. This place is a perfect pitstop when wandering about the Old Town – and great value too.7.1km
  • Somewhere You’ll find this eatery located on the edge of AlUla’s largest palm grove, a short walk away from the Old Town. The restaurant blends contemporary and traditional Mediterranean design, with its comfortable cushions, wrought iron furniture, piles of fresh fruits dotted around and dune frescoes on the walls. The main attraction is the wooden terrace that overlooks AlUla oasis. Middle Eastern classics, mostly from Egypt and Lebanon, boast some creative twists with occasional hints of fusion, resulting in dishes that are colourful, generous and packed with flavour.
