The NH Siena hotel, formally known as NH Excelsior, is situated in the heart of Siena's historical center with its Gothic architecture and pavement cafes, and is within walking distance of Siena central station. Nearby attractions such as the Piazza Del Campo and the green-and-white-striped Duomo are within a 10 minute walk, while the Basilica of San Domenico and Stadio Artemio Franchi are a bus or short car ride away. There is also a bus station outside for trips to Florence train station. Each of our 129 soundproof rooms feature satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, and minibars. They are all tastefully decorated and feature carpet or parquet flooring. For those requiring more space, upgraded rooms have connecting rooms, extra beds, and balconies or terraces, and rooms on the higher floors offer fantastic views. Other amenities include a gym and a daily breakfast buffet. Made-to-order hot dishes are available upon request. For those who want to dine in, Al Rastrello is our resident hotel restaurant. Italian and local cuisine are served daily during dinner hours. For cocktail hour, the NH Siena Bar is located right next to the restaurant and has soups, and salads available to order. NH SIENA is located outside the ZTL, so you can arrive in front of the hotel along the urban road not closed to traffic. Please follow the indication for football stadium choosing SIENA OVEST from the highway in order to avoid a calculated route with access to the gates (ZTL ZONE). The Hotel is NOT responsible for fines for those who reach us, being outside the ZTL area. We also inform you that we do not have private parking and therefore we suggest some solutions. Public car parks 800 meters from the hotel: Parcheggio Il Campino (under the Siena’s Fortress); on white line spaces (free); on blue line spaces (with a fee). ALWAYS PAY ATTENTION TO THE ROAD SIGNBOARD IF YOU ARE ALLOWED OR NOT TO PARK.
