In its dining rooms, one for à la carte dining, the other next door to the kitchen and focused on the daily menu, enjoy traditional Catalan cuisine that features specialities such as “blue-footed chicken” (Prat breed), grilled Butifarra sausage, “mountain” chickpeas with lobster and, in a nod to the town’s star product, imaginative desserts featuring cherries in season. In this attractive stone property, featuring numerous designer details, the clear focus is on seasonal ingredients. These can be enjoyed in the glass-fronted dining room with views of the surrounding vineyards that produce the property’s own wine, and a small garden full of tomatoes, lettuce, fruit trees and aromatic plants. The cuisine here is centred around two seasonal menus (Rauxa and Follia). Our recommendation? We especially liked the Corazón de bosque, beef and cucumber vinaigrette, which is accompanied by three types of bread made in-house.

A family-run restaurant that, with the storied history of three generations behind it, has become a great classic of sincere traditional Catalan and Mediterranean cuisine. What’s on the menu? Fish from the market is their bread and butter, based on what comes in every day and working with absolute respect for the ingredients. They also serve up some amazing matured meats and a good selection of rice dishes, some with the famous crunchy socarrat.
