Now it is Alsace native Christian Rubert – also known from Karlbacher, a restaurant in Großkarlbach – who is in charge in the kitchen. • Atable im Amtshaus Surrounded by the town wall, the Amtshaus hotel boasts a lovely location in Freinsheim's old town, which is well worth a visit.
