This gem of a restaurant brimming with traditional Bavarian charm serves exceptional food in an inviting rustic setting. It is understandably popular, so be sure to book well in advance! Andreas and Michaela Hager form a harmonious team and this is clearly reflected in the delicious dishes they craft. Their short menu showcases superb local ingredients in classic dishes such as liver dumpling soup, Tafelspitz (prime boiled beef) with horseradish or salmon trout fillet with a mustard sauce. The 3-course menu is also interesting. Service comes courtesy of a friendly front-of-house team.

This place has been synonymous with tasty cuisine for years. The fresh, regional dishes are made with excellent ingredients. Stripped back to the essentials, they eschew any frills. The atmosphere in the restaurant is charming and the waitstaff are friendly. This beautifully situated traditional inn also has a fabulous terrace. You can park directly in front of the building.
