The hotel was listed among Condé Nast Traveler's Top 10 Hotels in San Francisco in both 2013 and 2014 and received TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence from 2012 through 2015. Situated two blocks from Union Square and steps from the Powell Street cable car line, it offers easy walking access to many attractions.
