  • Rührberger HofBib The historical Rührberger Hof estate, which is home to this long-established family business, has been around since 1902. The fact that it was once used for farming is no longer apparent today. The pleasingly modern interior is an attractive setting in which to savour the excellent cuisine of brothers Christoph und Felix Düster. This is based on classical foundations and takes its cue from the region and the seasons. At lunchtime, the reasonably priced set menu of the day is very popular. There are also well-kept contemporary-style guestrooms.6.6km
  • Eckert | Fine Dining★ Michelin This fine dining restaurant is as chic as the designer hotel of the same name. Whether in the conservatory or the lounge area, the modern, minimalist decor feels both cosy and stylish. In the kitchen, young chef-patron Nicolai Peter Wiedmer demonstrates his mastery of classic cookery as well as his creative flair – he also likes to incorporate Asian flavours. In the evening, the set menu ("Lieblings Momente") can also be served in a vegan version. At lunchtime, two smaller tasting menus (one vegan) are served, as well as the business lunch. The fabulous wine list comprises around 450 labels, w10.0km
  • Inzlinger Wasserschloss With over 500 years of history to its name, plus a stylish interior, this moated castle near the Swiss border has for years been synonymous with classic French cuisine made from top-notch produce. You can dine à la carte or choose the set menu – there is also a vegetarian or vegan option. Accompany your food with one of the great wine recommendations. Our tip: The guesthouse 150m away has terrific rooms for overnight stays.7.9km
  • Krone Krone has been properly invested in: from the façade to the hotel rooms, everything is chic and high quality, the restaurant is modern and sleek. The food is very good, with select produce turned into aromatic dishes with plenty of flavour. At lunchtime, a smaller range of interesting options. If you are staying longer, Basel and Alsace are very close by.8.8km
  • Bad Schauenburg Whether you're seated in the Basler Stübli, the Gaststube or the Veranda, the fine dining restaurant of Hotel Bad Schauenburg serves classic French cuisine that takes its cue from the seasons in all its lovely rooms. Some of the produce comes from the hotel's own garden. The highlight in summer is of course the delightful terrace!9.2km
