- Westphalenhof This stylish and sophisticated restaurant is somewhat tucked away in a residential area. Here, the Westphal brothers – one is the chef, the other the sommelier – delight diners with delicious food and excellent wine recommendations. The menu features international dishes that take their cue from the seasons, such as confit halibut fillet in nut butter, potato scales, cauliflower cream, dried tomatoes and Sardinian pasta. The walk-in wine cellar accommodates 120 different labels. The restaurant is also open for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays.18.5km

Lou (a nickname given to Prince Pückler) is an elegant restaurant housed in the smart Kavaliersbau (squire's lodge). Here, chef-patron Tim Sillack serves up modern seasonal cuisine with an artful juxtaposition of regional and international influences. The individual courses of the menu can also be ordered à la carte. "Pückler Eis" (Neapolitan ice cream) has a permanent place on the menu and is something of a signature dessert. There are 18.8km
