At 128m above street level, the striking JenTower affords fantastic views of the city and surrounding area! The cuisine is modern and international: dinner takes the form of a sharing menu comprising three to five courses (vegetarian version available); the lunchtime selection is a little more streamlined. The restaurant of the attractive Spa & GolfResort Weimarer Land serves Italian-inspired dishes with classical influences. Chef Marcello Fabbri has made a name for himself in the region. He proposes a five-course set menu made with excellent produce from Italy. His pasta creations are a real treat – not least the nettle cappelletti with a nutty brown butter foam and aromatic morels. The waitstaff are friendly and highly proficient, and the sommelier's recommendations are spot on. With just 16 covers, the tasteful little restaurant of the Spa & GolfResort Weimarer Land has a pleasantly intimate character. Comfortable upholstered seats, lovely decoration and a cosy atmosphere provide the perfect setting for the four- to six-course set menu devised by chef Danny Schwabe and his ambitious team. This restaurant inside the luxury Hotel Elephant is bathed in natural light thanks to its enormous windows. Seated beneath the high ceiling, diners can take in the exclusive ambience, including decorative pictures in the entrance area. Head for the delightful terrace in summer. The cuisine is modern and creative with a regional twist. Mouthwatering options include cod and creamy leeks with pasta and tomato and, for dessert, apple and white chocolate bread pudding and vanilla ice cream. At lunchtime, diners can order à la carte. In the evenings, an interesting set menu is also available, which
