- Venissa★ Michelin Far away from the tourist hordes, Venissa is situated in a small walled vineyard dating back to the Middle Ages – complete with 14C belltower – on the small island of Mazzorbo, a magical setting which is perfect for a short stroll before settling down to eat. In addition to the Dorona di Venezia vineyard, the restaurant also has a kitchen garden which provides most of its vegetables, including unusual varieties such as “castraure”, a type of local artichoke. Once out of the garden, you come to a small wooden bridge which links Mazzorbo to neighbouring Burano, where you can complete your visit 16.6km
- Gellivs★ Michelin Gellivs boasts a unique and atmospheric setting within the Antica Opitergium museum, surrounded by archaeological remains that tell the story of the town from the beginning of the Roman period, although the contemporary-style furniture and decor here bring us right into the modern day. Here, chef Alessandro Breda creates cuisine that is reassuringly traditional in dishes such as potato mousse, cooked and raw cod, quince and puntarella greens, and more modern in specialities such as the Treviso-Tokyo lobster. An impressive wine list which includes Italian and international labels completes the 17.6km
- Menegaldo Menegaldo is a long-established favourite for anyone who loves authentic fish dishes made from top-quality ingredients. Although it feels as though time has stood still in the pleasantly old-fashioned dining room, with its outmoded decor and furnishings, the service here is attentive and enthusiastic. The dishes are traditional and typical of the area, making this an excellent choice for delicious seafood cuisine that is elaborate without being overly fussy.6.2km
- Da Odino This restaurant has stood on this square for many years, having been built as a “casone” and previously used as a dance hall. Despite its large size, the atmosphere is pleasant and convivial, helped by the staff here who are friendly yet professional. Situated just a stone’s throw from the Park Hotel Junior, a modern hotel under the same ownership, the restaurant specialises in fish and seafood, although you’ll also find meat and vegetarian options on the menu.7.3km
- Osteria Borsò GambrinusBib "Casual and relaxed, the atmosphere is just like that of a typically traditional tavern, consisting of a series of pleasant little dining rooms, while the menu combines local specialities with fresh seafood dishes. "17.8km
- Il Basilisco Situated in a peripheral residential area, this restaurant sports a vibrant and simple interior centred around splendid cuisine. Although many dishes adhere to the traditional national classic genre, local offerings particularly impressed us, such as the Risi e Bisi made with native peas cooked in pod broth. Nonetheless, room remains for certain fish offerings. A pleasant outdoors area is available for fair-weather enjoyment.11.2km
- Pierre - Trattoria Sartoriale On the edge of the historic center, this is a simple restaurant with just a few tables, set in modern spaces accented with 1920s-inspired touches. True to its name, the focus here is a “tailored” approach to cuisine. The menu reflects the best the market has to offer, interpreted with creativity, especially in the three tasting menus, while never going overboard and always prioritizing flavor. The restaurant is run by two passionate young professionals (the chef has gained excellent national and international experience). At lunchtime, a business menu is also available.12.3km
- med In the pedestrian area of the town, with views of the Sile river from the ground floor, this attractive restaurant serves regional cuisine with a focus on local ingredients, prepared in a classic style attentive to modern tastes. There’s an excellent wine list, plus live music and a pleasant outdoor space for fine weather dining.12.7km
- Le Beccherie In the heart of Treviso, what was once a stronghold of traditional cuisine is now a restaurant with contemporary appeal, where a carefully curated atmosphere is matched by sophisticated design; the most coveted tables overlook the canal, providing a particularly atmospheric setting. The gastronomic proposal combines fantasy and references to the territory; in addition to the à la carte, two tasting menus are available: "We" brings together a selection of the most representative dishes of chefs Beatrice Simonetti and Manuel Gobbo, while "Beccherie 1962" pays homage to the sign's historic cuisin12.9km
- Forte del 48 This pleasant restaurant started life in 1848 as a bastion used by the Habsburg army and was later transformed into an inn. Recognised as a “Locale Storico Veneto”, it’s now run by the third generation of the De Faveri family who serve traditional meat and fish dishes here. Comfortable guestrooms are also available for guests wishing to extend their stay.13.2km
