  • Wilde KlosterkücheBib This restaurant is located close to the 13C Cistercian monastery and its Baroque church. The chic decor has a modern, casual feel, and the kitchen is open to view. The dishes served here are pleasantly down to earth and packed with flavour. Ingredients are chosen according to the season and predominantly sourced from within a 50km radius. The dining experience revolves around a set menu comprising seven "moments", which is also available in a shorter form – with fish and meat or in a vegetarian format.   • Lou im Cavalierhaus The estate is worth a visit in its own right. The palace and 620ha Branitz Park landscaped by Prince Hermann von Pückler in the 19C are conducive to a stroll. Lou (a nickname given to Prince Pückler) is an elegant restaurant housed in the smart Kavaliersbau (squire's lodge). Here, chef-patron Tim Sillack serves up modern seasonal cuisine with an artful juxtaposition of regional and international influences. Here, the Westphal brothers – one is the chef, the other the sommelier – delight diners with delicious food and excellent wine recommendations. The menu features international dishes that take their cue from the seasons, such as confit halibut fillet in nut butter, potato scales, cauliflower cream, dried tomatoes and Sardinian pasta.
