Spend the night at Premier Inn Maidenhead Town Centre and you're at the heart of everything this Berkshire town has to offer. Update your wardrobe in The Nicholson Centre or leave the high street behind for a local market. Take the kids to Kidswell Park (it's just over the road from our Maidenhead hotel) and the Maidenhead Heritage Centre. Spending some time alongside the picturesque river Thames is a must. When it's time to call it a day, tuck into dinner at our Thyme restaurant before turning in to one of our new-generation bedrooms, each featuring an impressive 40" flat screen TV, bright, modern bathroom with a large shower head and slumber-inducing, king-size Hypnos bed. You can't keep Alain Roux away from the banks of the Thames. Up the road from his famous Waterside Inn, he owns this contemporary brasserie and cocktail bar in a similarly pleasant riverside setting. The skill and confidence of the chefs is evident across the menu of traditional French and other European dishes, particularly in classical elements like the rich, meaty sauces. If you're lucky, there might be a fruits de mer chalked up on the blackboard specials. Arrive early for drinks on the terrace or in the cocktail bar.
