  • Restaurant Tossal Gros In Prenafeta, a district to the east of Montblanc, and as a complement to the Escoda-Sanahuja winery (a pioneer in natural wines from organic farming in Catalonia), this restaurant occupies a restored farmhouse in the heart of nature, overlooking the mountains and surrounding vineyards. In the kitchen, Russian-born chef Vladislav Degtyarev shows a clear dedication to Mediterranean tradition, based on seasonal and local organic produce, much of which is grown on the farm itself. Each dish (ordered à la carte or through the tasting menu) is designed to pair wonderfully with the wines of the wine4.5km
  • Cal Travé This impressively run family restaurant boasts a delightful decorative backdrop of antique objects (large wall clocks, wind instruments, coffee grinders etc) plus an open grill at the far end of the dining room. The traditionally focused Catalan cuisine on offer here features excellent stews, aged meats and plenty of grilled options (we particularly enjoyed the grilled duck breast). A selection of the restaurant’s own still and sparkling wines are also sold here.8.8km
