Dedicated, cordial and consistent service is the name of the game in the Ottenbacher family establishment, a fact which can be put down to their long tradition of hospitality, which spans four generations! Here, they cultivate tradition and yet continue to evolve – as you can see in the spruce half-timbered house with its green shutters, where historical charm meets more modern and elegant design features. Moritz Feichtinger's classic cuisine also draws on the region for inspiration. There is a choice of three menus - including a vegan and a regional menu - and à la carte dishes. Diners can al

Modern tastes meet regional flair with harmonious results – both in the food and the aesthetic of the fine dining restaurant of the hotel Rose, run by brothers Benjamin and Christian Maerz. With its beautiful warm wood panelling and clean lines, the interior is at once cosy, trendy and chic. The cuisine, too, draws on regional culinary tradition as well as contemporary trends, in the form of a set menu dubbed "Heimweh/Fernweh". The chef uses first-rate ingredients sourced from the region, refined with spices from all over the globe, cleverly married in dishes such as "sturgeon in nori, unagi e

This restaurant's tasteful modern interior design has been beautifully integrated into the historical setting of the 150-year-old Monrepos estate. Outside, there is a delightful terrace under the shade of chestnut trees. The seasonally influenced cuisine is served in the form of a set menu (vegetarian version available) and à la carte. Options include classics such as Zwiebelrostbraten (fried beef and onions in gravy) with champagne sauerkraut, as well as modern dishes such as wild garlic risotto with red prawns marinated in rosemary and burrata. For car enthusiasts who are fans of quality cuisine: here you can take in views of the Porsche Museum or Porscheplatz as you tuck into Mediterranean and international fare such as pluma bellota Ibérico taco with pineapple and pink peppercorn chutney, or barbecued US prime beef. You can also opt for a six- or nine-course tasting menu. The open kitchen offers some fascinating insights. Impressive wine list comprising over 500 items. A lift takes you straight from the car park to the restaurant on the third floor.

It's a real pleasure to eat here, and there's a good reason for that: chef-patron Daniel Stübler clearly puts his heart and soul into running his cosy little restaurant. He cooks up excellent regional and international dishes, and also does the serving himself – not only is he highly accomplished at what he does, he is also an extremely cordial host and single-handedly creates a fantastic atmosphere! The carefully curated wine list is also remarkable, featuring wines from Baden-Württemberg, Baden and the Palatinate only.

On the first floor of the culture and congress centre, Forum am Schlosspark, an interesting restaurant and wine bar concept awaits you. The cuisine is modern, seasonal and international, but also has classical influences; dishes can be ordered as a set menu or à la carte. Good wines, friendly, attentive service and a chic, light and airy space. The terrace with a view over Kastanienallee is delightful. If you are coming by car, you can park on the Bärenwiese opposite.
