First things first: be sure to make a reservation, because this place is in high demand! This isn't surprising given the fantastic eight-course set menu that the kitchen team around Christian Steska and Jansen Schouten proposes in this smart townhouse situated in the beautiful old town. For those who prefer a lighter option, an attractively priced four-course set menu is available on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The restaurant comprises both Christian & Friends and the adjoining wine bar Bordeaux & Friends with its distinctive wine rack – it has an excellent selection of wines with many top label

Entennest is a cosy and charming wine tavern that makes for a more rustic alternative – the menu is the same here in the evening. If you would like to stay overnight, the hotel of the same name has attractive individually furnished guestrooms.

The sophisticated dishes seamlessly highlight select ingredients with modern accents. Diners are offered a choice of various set menus; individual courses can also be ordered à la carte. Recommendations from the short, well curated wine list are always spot on. There is also a brasserie under the sa
