Farm to table, Modern Cuisine · ★ Michelin

The many positive adjectives that can be used to describe the Trafoier family can be summed up by simply saying that they are unique! Their individual talents come together in the natural and engaging welcome they offer guests, demonstrating a warmth and professionalism that is typical of the Kuppelrain experience. Run with passion by the two owners who continue the long family tradition in this hotel-restaurant is one of the most picturesque sights in the Val Senales. Its beautifully kept dining room is romantic and typical of the region, providing a backdrop for just a few dishes which are prepared by the chef with a focus on local ingredients. A hint of Mediterranean influence adds to the appeal.

The family that run this restaurant occupying an old farmhouse with origins dating back to the 16C has a relationship with the region that goes back decades. In later years, the farm became an inn and it has now been run by the same family for five generations, all motivated by a desire to introduce their guests to the best local recipes and ingredients. Dishes include excellent fresh ravioli stuffed with cheese produced in the nearby valley and served (in summer) with tomato and basil sauce. An excellent wine list and the hotel’s warm and friendly ambience add to the appeal.
