Kaisersaal

French Contemporary, Mediterranean Cuisine · ★ Michelin

€€€€

With its suggestion of elegance, the name – meaning "emperor's hall" – sets the tone. Once a renowned ballroom, Kaisersaal boasts high ceilings, stuccowork, fine hardwood floors and pleasant design details. The kitchen in a glass cube in the entrance area is eye-catching; it is also where the team led by chef Kevin Leitner, who previously earned a MICHELIN star for s'Äpfle, in Bodman, cooks up classic and Mediterranean-based dishes, which are given a creative and modern twist. Friendly service is provided by attentive staff, as you savour dishes such as "Norwegian scallop, rhubarb, nasturtium,

This family-run inn is a lovely spot in the countryside and has a charming terrace shaded by a majestic old lime tree. The menu is varied and full of delicious options. Made with regional and seasonal produce, the dishes draw on Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Asian influences. Options such as the cream of sweetcorn soup with deep-fried mussels and purple curry, or the Allgäu cheese spaetzle with melted onions and a green salad are sure to whet the appetite. In the evening, you can dine à la carte or opt for a set menu comprising three or five courses. Cash payments only.

The setting in the historic Veitsburg is truly something special. Once you reach the castle, not only does a magnificent view of Ravensburg await you… Christian Ott's ambitious cooking is inspired by international influences and the seasons. You can choose between "The Vegan Menu" and the "Atelier Tian Menu". Flexibility is key here: dishes can be combined into a personalised set menu of three to seven courses. Service is professional and friendly. There is also a dedicated cigar list. Tip: Make your reservation in good time – this place is popular with more than just the local crowd!

In a charming location between Lake Constance and the Allgäu, just a few kilometres from Ravensburg, this lovely restaurant serving excellent cuisine is run by the Geßler family. Chef-patron Benedikt Geßler comes from a family of restaurateurs and has worked in several renowned kitchens. Here, he cooks modern, seasonal dishes, placing great importance on organic and Demeter produce. Choose one of two set menus ("Chef Menu" and "Végétal Menu"), from which, alternatively, you can order à la carte. The setting is extremely inviting, too, with friendly, professional staff serving you in a cosy int

Following Marco Akuzun's departure, Daniele di Fabio is the new head chef. As well as a good à la carte selection, a five-course set menu is served in the evening (vegetarian version available on request) and there is an attractive "business lunch" formula comprising two or three courses. The mouthwatering options include ricotta gnocchi with summer truffle and Parmesan, or guinea fowl saltimbocca with olive marinara sauce and basil purée. Furthermore, a creative tasting menu can be ordered in the evening. The upscale interior is both stylish and cosy, featuring warm wood and a minimalist desi
