HAVN

Modern Cuisine, International · 必比登

€€

The moment you enter this lively restaurant, both the view of the old harbour and the open kitchen draw the eye. At HAVN, you can expect a vibrant atmosphere and a menu infused with global travel experiences. Chef Robin Blaauw glides effortlessly between the fiery punch of South American dishes and the depth of Asian flavours, always using premium Dutch ingredients as a foundation. You could begin with the beef tataki with refreshing watermelon, pak choi and a creamy spring onion and sambai vinegar sauce. An irrestible dessert uniting chocolate, tonka bean, crème Suisse, the zesty brightness o

Marque

Mediterranean Cuisine

€€€

The open kitchen and spacious bar (which you can eat at) will grab your attention as soon as you walk into this former cheese warehouse (1618). The character of this property is enhanced by the elegant decor. Marque is proud of its Mediterranean soul, and the experienced head chef wins diners over with modern textures, delicate acidic touches, and all the panache and exuberance of the South.

QuiDine

Modern French

Drawing on experience gained at various top-flight establishments, Quirijn Bakker proposes an accessible take on fine dining. QuiDine exudes sophistication but also has a cosy, living room-like feel. Meticulously crafted dishes are served in the form of a set menu; diners simply choose the number of courses. The chef brings his culinary creations to life with ingenious flavour combinations and international influences. For instance, ajo blanco cream elevates the fillet of smoked trout, and strawberry vinegar and chilli pep up a refreshing dessert. This young chef demonstrates a maturity beyond

La Mère Anne

Regional Cuisine

€€

La Mère Anne is a huge business encompassing a range of activities. You can hire the venue for parties, spend the night in modern guestrooms, but above all, enjoy good food! The chef favours regional produce, which he showcases in contemporary dishes. These steer clear of frills, focusing instead on straightforward, delicious flavours.

Creative, Modern French

Prepare yourself to be blown away as you drive past fields full of red and white cabbages en route to this cosy little establishment housed in a former post office. Geoffrey van Melick cut his teeth at top-flight restaurants such as The Fat Duck and 't Nonnetje, and it shows in his selection of quality ingredients, the depth of his sauces and his meticulous garnishes. Take, for example, the perfectly pitched and beautifully reduced veal jus that accompanies the rich fillet of veal Rossini, with fine vegetable accompaniments that add their distinctive nuances. This chef proves that creativity n

Red Chilli

Asian, Fusion

€€€

This restaurant brings a slice of Asia all the way to the peaceful Dutch countryside. Red lanterns, Buddha statues, a dragon boat in the middle of the dining space… It's almost as if you have been whisked away to the Far East. Adding to the atmosphere, the host enthusiastically presents each dish. Asian fusion cuisine is interpreted with a modern twist, often incorporating local ingredients, but always staying true to its authentic spirit. Think braised MRIJ beef sirloin in a punchy massaman curry with the perfect dose of chilli. Red Chilli will definitely spice up your evening!

€€€

Established by Mario Uva in 1967, this elegant family-run restaurant has become a true institution. Today, his son Emilio and chef Sil Springorum continue the legacy, reinforcing its stellar reputation with a refined wine list and a set menu that brings a modern edge to classic Italian flavours. Here you might be tempted by a perfectly cooked piece of turbot with salted lemon and a beurre blanc made with Franciacorta sparkling wine, or ravioli filled with potato purée and Taleggio, finished with a sauce combining veal jus, foie gras, apple syrup and hazelnuts. The cooking is always marked by g
