The resort's most luxurious hotel was designed in 1912 by Austrian architect Alfred Keller. The property's gourmet restaurant is now named after him, whose terrace offers a splendid view of Čikat Bay, an ideal setting for a fine dining experience. In the kitchen, Austrian chef Michael Gollenz enhances the best local ingredients with modern and creative dishes that are always balanced in taste and harmony. The technical base is French, but there is no shortage of international influences. Along with a small à la carte selection, tasting menus are offered in the evening. Among the most interesti

Directly overlooking the small harbour of one of Kvarner's most romantic villages, from its small terrace this venue enjoys a splendid view: small boats, beach and sea compose a relaxing and evocative picture. As is natural, the cuisine is predominantly seafood, simple and tasty. What could be better than to start with a carpaccio of the catch of the day and then follow it up with scampi alla busara, a preparation that apparently originated in these very areas? Prices are generally fair, except, understandably, for the finest shellfish.

At the Japanese restaurant of the luxurious Hotel Bellevue, guests can choose to sit on the panoramic terrace or indoors in an elegant dining room with refined design, featuring an open kitchen and sushi counter. The menu offers excellent sashimi, available in both classic and creative interpretations, alongside premium meat specialties such as Wagyu beef. The extensive wine list includes selections by the glass, complemented by a carefully curated choice of sake and Japanese whiskies, perfect for rounding out the dining experience.

The first thing that strikes you is undoubtedly the view: your gaze is lost over the beautiful, peaceful Gulf of Quarnero, framed by a small private olive grove from which an excellent extra virgin olive oil is produced, served with delicious homemade rustic bread. The service is professional, and the wine list, while not extensive, is well-curated, with labels from all over Croatia. To start, we recommend a Tomac Blanc de Noirs, a fresh and characterful sparkling wine. The cuisine is creative and seasonal, and choosing between the 4- or 7-course menu will guide you through the world of Marin,

This century-old restaurant in the modern resort of Ribarska Koliba (the name translates as Fisherman’s Hut) stands near the Marina Veruda, which can be admired through its large picture windows or from its attractive summer terrace. Delicious Mediterranean cuisine takes pride of place on the menu, ranging from pasta-based starters to fish and seafood dishes made from the freshest ingredients (the bouillabaisse is superb), although a few meat specialities also feature. Vintage car enthusiasts can also admire the Triumph Spitfire convertible that is “parked” inside the restaurant.

In a charming fishing village, this cosy restaurant brings the sea right to your plate... and just steps away from your table! The real gem is the veranda overlooking the water: once seated, you are lulled by the sound of the waves and enchanted by a picture-postcard view. The patron, Stiven Vunić, devotes himself with great skill to seafood cuisine in which the very fresh and fragrant product is the real star. The recipes are simple but refined: sometimes a modern twist appears, but more often the focus is on the reassuring comfort of well-executed tradition. Raw dishes, pastas, catch of the

Just a stone’s throw from one of the most beautiful beaches in the region, this restaurant serves fresh fish, scampi and shellfish caught that very day and prepared in simple, traditional dishes that allow the full flavour of the fish and seafood to shine through (dishes are announced at your table). In summer, don’t miss the relaxing and sunny panoramic terrace. The Jurdan family have been running this restaurant since 1996 – almost thirty years of enthusiastic and reliable service.
