"Lang is her" is the appetising culinary concept brought to Hotel an der Wasserburg by a dedicated team led by the Rohde family (the owners). The modern, international cuisine with seasonal influences is served as a three- to seven-course set menu or à la carte. Both in the chic interior, which has a friendly vibe, and, in summer, out on the lovely terrace with its walnut tree, staff provide attentive service and will be happy to recommend the perfect accompaniment from the well-stocked German/international wine list. The cuisine takes its cue from the seasons and showcases quality produce from the region and elsewhere in the country. One of their signature dishes is braised veal cheek with mustard jus. The set menu can comprise five, six or seven courses. Choose your accompaniment from the extensive selection of fine German wines. There is also a pairing menu. The interior is modern yet cosy. The name sort of gives it away if you have any German: This attractive modern brasserie is housed in a former sugar factory, now a listed building. Exposed red brick walls and high ceilings give the setting an appealing industrial feel. In summer, the terrace is shaded by awnings. Flavoursome seasonally inspired dishes are served à la carte, with an additional set menu available. The waitstaff are pleasantly down-to-earth, very friendly and well organised.
