Kanton Restaurant
Chinese, Modern Cuisine · 必比登
€€
In an unremarkable district of Capriate lies one of the most interesting expressions of Chinese cuisine in Lombardy. Do not be misled by the surroundings: once through the door, the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming and, above all, Mr Zhu Weikun’s cooking is truly accomplished, with an excellent quality-price ratio. The menu is refreshingly concise rather than overwhelming, focusing on a well-judged selection of fragrant dishes that clearly express the flavours and techniques of the great Chinese gastronomic tradition. In a romantic setting of eighteenth-century farmhouses, you will find the same rustic atmosphere inside the restaurant as well, but combined with elements of modern elegance, starting with the solid wood tables left bare, with no tablecloth. Chef patron Stagi offers a single tasting menu (you can, however, choose between the full or abbreviated version, and the dishes are, in any case, also on the menu) with a creative and sometimes very elaborate character.

This restaurant offers a culinary experience dedicated exclusively to Italian meats, sourced primarily from free-range, organic farms. Its philosophy is rooted in sustainability and respect for ingredients, with a whole-animal approach that reduces waste and highlights each individual cut. The goal is to enhance the quality of the product through simplicity, precise technique, and creativity, resulting in authentic flavors deeply tied to Italian gastronomic tradition. Dining at La Braseria is a sensory journey through territory, seasonality, and sustainability.

Macelleria Motta
Meats and Grills, Italian

Motta has established a reputation for quality, especially for its meat which is carefully sourced from farms in the Piedmont region. Some of the excellent options on the menu are aged in a large fridge near the entrance, along with different types of delicious salumi which are produced and cured by the restaurant. Various types of meat feature here – these are cured or cooked using classic methods with the occasional modern touch. Piedmontese beef is one of the highlights, with different cuts grilled on the barbecue or served boiled. Make sure you try the 300g hamburger with Aosta valley Toma
