Situated 50 metres from the basilica of San Zeno (the patron saint of Verona), this restaurant housed in a renovated workshop boasts plenty of outdoor space for summer dining. Here, enjoy eclectic cuisine with an equal balance of Mediterranean and traditional flavours, including an excellent array of raw fish dishes and a small selection of Italian caviar.

Within an eighteenth-century palazzo, L’Oste Scuro boasts a centuries-old tradition, with the current management at the helm since 1998. A favored destination for seafood enthusiasts, preparations are decidedly classic and traditional, built on excellent-quality ingredients. Weather permitting, guests may dine in the palazzo’s enchanting inner courtyard. An extensive wine selection offers approximately 1,150 labels, with a particularly impressive range of Champagnes and Burgundies.

In a beautiful part of Verona, right opposite the famous Castelvecchio, this restaurant offers a very relaxing ambience with wood ceilings and informal classic furnishings, subtle lighting and soft background music. The menu features both regional and Italian dishes, with specialities including spit-roast meat and fish. Alfresco dining is offered in summer.

Bearing the signature of three-starred Perbellini (his celebrated millefeuille features among the desserts), but with the talented Andrea Manzoli at the stoves, this is the quintessential venue for lovers of traditional seafood cuisine; here and there a creative touch, with the exceptional quality of the catch always center stage.

A simple, albeit pleasant and lively, restaurant just behind the famous Arena, well run by two good students of chef Perbellini. You can sit at classic tables or sit on stools at the small counter facing the kitchen. In any case, full speed ahead with a contemporary Italian line, with dishes such as "Mozzarella & Carrozza," spaghetti aglio olio peperoncino and raperonzoli with shrimp and lime... to finish – perhaps – with a good tiramisù.

The name was not chosen at random: in the heart of the old town, you will find an excellent selection of Peruvian cuisine, rich in spices, colours and a variety of ingredients combined in often complex dishes. The chef is of Peruvian origin and, in addition to classic ceviche, he likes to add a Japanese touch to some dishes, creating Nikkei cuisine, the result of emigration to Peru by Japanese people who brought their own culinary traditions with them and blended them with the local cuisine.

In Borgo Trento, an elegant residential quarter just steps from the historic center, Filia plays the card of a modern, minimalist setting, where just five tables find their place. Tasting menus are served, with dishes also available à la carte. The cuisine is modern and creative, at times revisiting classics of the Italian tradition.
