马西耶里酒店

You follow winding roads up into the Lessini hills to get to this small paradise, a rustic setting which is home to an elegant, family-run restaurant where everyone works hard to ensure that you enjoy your evening. Federico Pettenuzzo and his mother are at the helm in the kitchen (the latter responsible for the delicious pastas), while Federico’s brother Riccardo oversees the front of house. The creative cuisine is prepared from ingredients sourced from all over Italy and further afield, with some occasionally original combinations.

Run by the same family since 1976, this restaurant is accessed via a steep winding road and yet the many loyal guests who return here time and time again are proof that the journey is well worth the effort. Once here, the warm welcome offered by the whole family, the attractive dining room with a fireplace, and the delicious cuisine all add to the appeal. Showcasing substantial cuisine with a focus on local flavours (the winter menu featuring game dishes and mushrooms is extraordinary), the menu offers traditional dishes that appeal to the eyes and the palate. 2027 will mark forty years of business: a story made up of aromas, flavours and traditions, the story of the Portinari family, who have carved their name among the pillars of Venice's restaurant scene and beyond. Chef Nicola Portinari welcomes guests to La Peca with one clear goal: to give them pleasure, letting them choose freely from an extensive and inviting menu (for those who prefer a guided experience, there are three tasting menus, including a vegetarian option). Leafing through it, it is easy to be seduced by dishes that speak to the palate and the mind. His creations are technical, bu

In the idyllic setting of a 16C mill with a garden and small lake, this restaurant boasts an equally magical dining room with a warm, friendly and traditional feel. Top-quality dishes from the Veneto include a delicious sopressa(the region’s cured ham), Vicenza-style baccalà (cod) with Marano polenta and a soft guancetta served with a superb pendolòn (potato polenta).

Situated in the Berici hills, this restaurant run by a friendly and welcoming family boasts views of the surrounding greenery from its first-floor dining rooms. Although the cuisine focuses on local ingredients (in other words, mainly meat), the menu also includes a particularly delicious baccalà alla vicentina (salted cod).

You head through a delightful garden to get to this restaurant housed in a room once used as a conservatory for citrus trees in the 18C Villa Perez-Pompei-Sagramoso. Here, the owner-chef serves delicious regional cuisine which he prepares with particular attention to beautiful presentation. He also makes use of extra-virgin olive oil produced in the countryside around Illasi, with a small selection of oils available for tasting, including the restaurant’s own.

This modern and minimalist-style restaurant with three small dining rooms full of character provides the backdrop for contemporary-style cuisine which is constantly evolving. The menu includes a few snack options for those in a hurry or looking to sample a variety of dishes in smaller portions. Open at lunchtime by prior reservation.
