This chic and modern restaurant has found the perfect home within the pretty half-timbered building of the long-established Birkenfelder Hof. It is an ideal setting for "casual dining". The atmosphere is also suitably relaxed, the waitstaff are experienced and friendly, and the delicious seasonal modern cuisine, which draws on French, Mediterranean and regional influences, incorporates the occasional Asian touch. Here, in their charming half-timbered inn dating back to 1688, they serve regional and Mediterranean-inspired fare. In addition to an à la carte menu, there is a three- to five-course set menu in the evening and the reasonably priced three-course "Eat & Talk" set menu at lunchtime (Tue-Fri).
