At Alpenblick two exciting dining options await: there is the lively bistro, where you can tuck into down-to-earth dishes such as steak tartare or Wiener schnitzel, or separated by a curtain is Stuba with its exceptionally ambitious fine dining menu. Comprising four to six courses, it comes in omnivore and vegetarian versions. Chef-patron Björn Inniger serves up cosmopolitan modern cuisine, sourcing many ingredients from the region. His dishes feature subtle nuances, bold contrasts, and they are packed with flavour. The timelessly elegant yet cosy setting and the enjoyably laid-back and attent

This hotel's bistro may be cheaper than its upscale restaurant, Stuba, but the food is nonetheless tasty and fresh. Whether you come for lunch or dinner, the no-frills market-inspired cooking won't break the bank. They are keen to use produce from the region, in dishes such as "Hüttler's hamburger" or house speciality "Dad's steak tartare". Another of their classics is the spicy Thai red curry, which has just the right amount of heat! In keeping with the Alpenblick style, the atmosphere is nice and relaxed, and the service charming and attentive. In summer, the covered terrace in front of the

A popular place to eat! A relaxed atmosphere reigns in this inviting contemporary interior, where diners tuck into pleasingly unpretentious dishes that impress with their flavours and craftsmanship. The menu features not only traditional regional dishes, including classics such as beef tartare, but also Asian specialities in the "Thai Corner" section of the menu, such as gaeng mussaman – a mild Thai curry with peanuts and king prawns. There is also a pleasant terrace with a magnificent view of the mountains of the Bernese Oberland. Next to the restaurant, the small Hotel National has cosy gues

They serve a set menu of up to seven courses. The wine list is where influences from Hungary – the owner's homeland – are particularly evident, and it is certainly worth considering her recommendations! Although located inside the building of Hotel Viktoria Eden, the restaurant is run independently.

To make the most of the simply stunning mountain views, opt for a table near the large glass-planed front – or on the delightful terrace! Complementing the wonderful scenery, the interior of the Bellevue Parkhotel & Spa restaurant boasts a sleek design that provides the backdrop for the fine dining menu: classic dishes such as roast duck breast with potato galettes are served in the evening, and a simpler à la carte selection is available at lunchtime. Choose an accompaniment from the exquisite wine list.

This restaurant serves flavoursome traditional cuisine made from local produce à la carte or in the form of an ambitious set menu comprising three, four or five courses. There are also appetising options for two, such as Chateaubriand. Berner Haus, which first appears in records as a tavern in 1542, makes for an enchanting setting with its charming wood-panelled interior. The lovely old turquoise tiled stove, adorned with Langenthal porcelain, provides comforting warmth in the winter months.

The name says it all! The location at an altitude of over 1 000m makes for a fantastic panoramic view of the surrounding mountains – it would be a crime not to enjoy it from the terrace in summer. The Rindisbachers have been running their establishment since 1985 already, serving food influenced by tradition, made with quality ingredients and paired with good wines. The pasta is manufactured in their own workshop. Panoteca sells delicatessen wares.
