It is always a pleasure to return to this eatery at the foot of the ramparts. The menu is the epitome of regional, which is not surprising as the chef uses local produce delivered by the farmers in person. Slow-roasted haunch of tender Pyrenean veal, hazelnut-flavoured Catalan picada sauce and millefeuille of potatoes… without forgetting cheese from the Pyrenees! Cosy rooms for overnight stays.

Cal Marquès is located in the historic centre of Camprodon, one of the prettiest towns in the Ripollès region. Here, on the ground floor of Hostal La Placeta, you will find a traditional Catalan-inspired menu with its roots firmly within the surrounding area, as well as a tasting menu (Simbiosi) that showcases the best high-altitude cuisine. The dishes featuring lamb from Ripollès, raised on the family farm, are the stars of the show!
