A chic, modern and pleasingly neighbourly vibe makes itself felt in this restaurant in the attractive historical district of Striesen, which inspired the name of this place. Walls decorated with artwork by local artists, as well as the open kitchen draw the eye. In the evening, there is a choice of two set menus (omnivore and vegetarian/vegan) composed of three to six courses, or à la carte dishes. In the attractive Bülow Palais in Dresden's Baroque Quarter, the bistro and winter garden have been combined into Caroussel Nouvelle, with a stylish interior by acclaimed designer Carlo Rampazzi. Kantine – open during the day – has a short menu that is supplemented by a handful of daily specials. The recipes stick close to the seasons and to products available in the delicatessen. In August 2024 Mario Pattis established his Feine Kost restaurant, which entices diners with an appealing variety of modern-creative and classic cuisine.
