Run by the Gruler brothers, this restaurant boasts a stunning lakeside location – tables on the terrace are much coveted in summer! The fresh and ambitious cuisine is also a major draw. The menu takes its cue from the region and the seasons with a classic bent. Fish from Lake Constance is also served and is even the focus of a three- or four-course set menu for two people. Cuisine, art and accommodation are combined in this long-running family business. Three sisters run both the hotel – with some classic, some stylishly modern guestrooms – and the restaurant, which offers really good seasonally influenced cuisine. There are three cosy dining areas inside; outside, there are tables on the terrace in the shade of the plane trees, which affords views of the orchards! There is art displayed everywhere in the house.
