Located in the rural region of the sleepy town of Guimarei, this 16th century farmhouse nestles amidst vineyards and orchards in an agricultural environment. Just a short drive away is the town of Santo Tirso, situated in the valley of the River Ave, where visitors will find a variety of dining and retail options. Some interesting landmarks include the Abade Pedrosa Museum, the Romanesque Church of Roriz, the Citania de Sanfins, a pre-Roman settlement, and the Caldas da Saude thermal spa. The city of Oporto and its airport are only 30 km away. The accommodation consists of four heated en-suite rooms furnished in a country décor that is in keeping with the style of the building, and supplied with all the necessities required to guarantee the comfort of the guests. Several separate dining rooms, all with a similar rustic decor, simple table settings and lots of typical decorative details hanging from the walls.
