This simple restaurant with a friendly atmosphere has been in business for 40 years, and is now one of the most popular eateries in this seaside town where singer Mia Martini was born. Situated near the centre and the sea, Taverna Kerkira serves Calabrian and Mediterranean dishes with influences from Greek cuisine (part of the family comes from Greece and the restaurant takes its name from the Greek word for Corfu), including excellent moussaka and farfalle pasta with Greek yoghurt.

Simple, modern fish dishes full of flavour take centre stage at this family-run restaurant in the charming historic centre of Palmi. From the restaurant on the first floor (no lift) of this early 20C building, you’ll enjoy fine views of the sea and the Strait of Messina. Here, skilled chef Filippo Cogliardo prepares fish-based dishes which include classic recipes (raw seafood) as well as more modern options (amberjack, red turnip with honey, fennel mayonnaise and lime gel). A few meat dishes also feature on the menu.
