Similarly, the menu covers both traditional Changzhou snacks and original creations. Try their signature tofu soup that builds layers of flavour with soy dregs cake, tofu skin, diced spicy mustard stem and coriander. Filled with pork or mushrooms, their pan-fried buns with golden, crispy bottom are also a must.

For the ultimate Changzhou experience, pair the trotters with noodles tossed in “red soup” that boasts sweet umami and a lovely chew. Expect to queue.
