A pleasantly surprising option in this small town and featuring two distinct ambiences: the popular original bar serving the daily menu and decorated with bulls’ heads, and the meticulously arranged contemporary dining room for the à la carte and tasting menus. The pair of chefs at the helm, Cundi and Tomás, propose a revised Murcian cuisine, with many dishes in tapa or snack format (we especially liked their crispy black cod ‘Roca’), and a section dedicated to Japanese cuisine that constantly plays with fusion. They’re working hard to bring Murcian chicken back into the culinary spotlight!

This highly unusual restaurant occupies an old paprika mill in the Espinardo district of Murcia, where the basement is home to an attractive private dining space and a themed museum dedicated to paprika (the fascinating and colourful collection of old containers is particularly impressive).
