2026 is already penned in ink as the 40th anniversary of the year in which the Roca brothers opened the doors of this famed restaurant. They describe themselves as an “equilateral triangle that encompasses the three sides of gastronomy” and like to say that their luck is down to the balance struck in a metaphorical “game of three players”, with Joan in charge of savoury dishes, Josep as the sommelier and Jordi on dessert duty. Whatever their approach, the essence of their cuisine is to enable guests to experience enjoyment through their eyes, palate and every other sense as part of a spiral of

In this restaurant, which stands out for its contemporary design set against a backdrop of beautiful Catalan vaults, the highlight is the constant attention provided by the owners: Joan Morillo in the dining room and his wife, Laura Tejero, as sommelier. The menu, which could be described as a nostalgic take on Catalan cuisine (with subtle undertones and well-judged French influences), aims to offer the finest ingredients and a wide range of choices; that’s why the menu allows you to order half portions, and if you fancy letting yourself be guided, there’s also a full tasting menu available. A family-run restaurant with plenty of history and a positive future ahead of it. After more than 30 years at the helm, chef Pere Massana and his wife Ana Roger have brought their children into the business, with one in charge of the dining room, the other bringing fresh impetus to Massana’s cuisine in the kitchen. Here, you’ll find an elegant setting and a combination of tradition and innovation that highlights a constant focus on locally sourced ingredients and the use of contemporary cooking techniques to maximise flavour. There’s also plenty of attention to detail, presentation and balance.

More than just a restaurant, this eatery is a part of local history as it occupies a building dating back to 1919 that once belonged to a group of farmers and acted as a casino and a type of social club.In the hands of the Feliu family since the 1950s, it has taken on a new lease of life under Cristina Feliu and her partner, chef Àlex Carrera. With its charming 19th-century-vintage atmosphere and now equipped with a new private room and a space dedicated to the wine cellar, here you will be offered modern cuisine that stands out for its delicate and intense snacks, where local produce always t

This restaurant has played an important role in the history of Costa Brava tourism. It occupies an old yet attractively restored farmhouse with a luxuriant garden-terrace for the summer months, an R&D space where new dishes are created, plus a bright, Mediterranean-inspired interior. Chef Marc Gascons and his sister Elena (front of house) are responsible for the entire experience here, which revolves around an extensive and up-to-date à la carte of traditional Catalan cuisine and the best local ingredients sourced from nearby producers and the superb fish auction in Palamós. A contemporary restaurant run by a family with great enthusiasm and passion. They offer a small à la carte menu and a seasonal set menu featuring authentic, well-prepared traditional cuisine, with generous portions that seek to capture traditional flavours using local produce, without resorting to elaborate techniques. A standout dish? Try their Palamós red prawn carpaccio, fried egg from Llagostera hens, mackerel roe and kimchi.

A contemporary restaurant that is keen to include diners in the entire creative process. The cuisine on offer here is centred around à la carte dining that occasionally surprises, and features enticing daily suggestions that combine local traditions and Asian influences. The chef, usually working behind the wooden counter (you can also eat here), can often be seen in the dining room putting the finishing touches to dishes in front of guests. Make sure you order the sea cucumbers and teardrop peas when in season.

A restaurant with a contemporary, urban and industrial feel, a black-inspired decor, and a name that has evolved from “si no fós” – a type of public bench where those without work would sit and congregate. Excellent cuisine featuring high-quality ingredients and a Mediterranean influence, including beef from the ‘LyO’ company in Galicia and superb fish direct from the fish market in Blanes. You have the choice of several tasting menus named after famous rappers or hip hop groups, such as Cypress Hill, Action Bronson and Notorious B.I.G. Our recommendation?
