Housed in the Grand Hotel Toplice which stands amid some of the most popular landscapes in Slovenia, this restaurant boasts truly breathtaking views of Lake Bled from its dining room and its outdoor terrace. Here, the chef offers tasting menus of various lengths featuring meat and fish specialities with the occasional international influence, as well as a 4-course option (the Gorenjska selection menu) with a stronger regional focus. On the latter, the array of local ingredients is showcased via a delicious hazelnut crème brûlée served with ice-cream made from cherries soaked in Terrano liqueur

Ideal for a summer lunch on the terrace, or inside during the evocative winter days when the lake, still and veiled in a light mist, creates an atmosphere of great enchantment. The welcoming interiors, distributed across several rooms, afford comfortable views of the lake’s beauty at every turn. The kitchen specialises above all in freshwater dishes, such as trout salad with potatoes or a flavourful fish soup. Among the main courses, the duck breast from the neighbouring valleys stands out, richly flavoured and served with pumpkin štruklji and an excellent red wine sauce.
