城市旅馆 'Het Wapen van IJlst'

Oostergoo is an ideal base from which to explore the picturesque town of Grou and, for that matter, the lovely province of Friesland – starting with a visit to this beautiful marina terrace. It's quite an experience! The old Dutch interior, with its Delftware and lovely parquet flooring, is no less enchanting. They serve up an authentic brand of traditional cuisine. The locally caught smoked eel is a real treat!

Are you in Friesland and dreaming of a getaway to Paris? Then make your way through the lovely streets of Grou to this delightful bistro. The nostalgic wall tiles, the marble counter and wooden stools, the French music pouring out of the speakers… This place has real character! Bistro classics are prepared in time-honoured tradition here: succulent foie gras on brioche, zesty canard à l'orange, a crispy and wonderfully fresh macaroon tart. The surprise menu transports you to those iconic bistros of the Parisian Left Bank.
