餐厅景点

Holbox

mexican, seafood · ★ Michelin

Its namesake is a Caribbean island just off the coast of the Yucatán Peninsula, but this beloved counter, located inside the Mercado La Paloma, is a distinctively Angelino phenomenon. Chef Gilbert Cetina, who previously cooked with his father at neighboring stall Chichen Itza, draws from Mexican coastal cuisines in dishes whose simplicity belies remarkable flavor. Spectacular quality seafood of unassailable freshness leaves an impression, whether in electrifyingly vibrant aguachiles and ceviches, excellent tacos served on house-made heirloom corn tortillas or skillfully grilled lobster — a pan

Komal

mexican · 必比登

In the bustling Mercado Del Paloma, Chef Fátima Juárez runs this little stall specializing in corn. Heirloom varieties sourced from Mexico and nixtamalized in-house form the heart of the menu. A quesadilla lined with squash blossoms and sweet corn bound with melty quesillo earns top marks. Golden-fried plantain balls set in a smoky black mole is another accomplished winner. From tlacoyas topped with cactus to tacos lined with short rib, be liberal with the salsa for extra punch and power.

SORA Craft Kitchen

Mediterranean Cuisine

$$$

SORA Craft Kitchen is a labor of love, a one-man show run by Chef Okay Inak. This Turkish-born chef has a fine dining pedigree but runs this DTLA spot entirely on his own, turning out hearty, honest Anatolian/Turkish dishes with modern techniques. With just over a dozen seats, the space is bright and inviting thanks to wood floors and ceilings, white wood tables set with stools and plenty of greenery. It's a casual spot, where guests order at a kiosk, choosing from appetizers like Spanish octopus with a Turkish white bean salad and entrees like sumac-cured tenderloin shish kebab over a smoked

Rossoblu

Italian, Regional Cuisine

This standout from Chef/owner Steve Samson is a favorite among local shoppers and visitors alike. While the area teems with restaurants aplenty, cutting-edge Rossoblu won't disappoint. There’s nothing avant-garde about its food however, and thankfully so. In fact, due to delicious summers spent in Emilia-Romagna, the chef's creations are a veritable ode to the region and promise to make Italian palates proud.Quality ingredients and simple execution come to life in redeye tuna tartare with shallots, capers, and preserved lemon over an avocado puree, served with lavash bread. Pastas, like Olimpi

Dama

Latin American, American Contemporary

$$$

Folks flock to this breezy, Latin-inspired spot in downtown Los Angeles. Dama's feisty flavors play well off its chic old Havana-style dining room, with plush leather sofas, massive wicker fans spinning overhead and colorful tile underfoot. The front patio is filled with plenty of greenery, while the glam central bar busily blends tropical cocktails to order. As for the menu, there’s plenty to choose from. Think kanpachi aguachile with red pearl onions; shrimp tostadas with pickled chilies, and lamb chops with olive salsa verde. Paella, pork and grilled ribeyes are best for sharing.
